Terms of Sale and Delivery
These terms apply when you buy a container or a custom build from Hesperia Big Box. Please read them before you order. If anything is unclear, call us at (760) 292-3477.
1. Prices and estimates
- Prices on our website are starting prices. Your final price is the one on your written quote or invoice.
- Delivery estimates on our website are estimates only. Your final delivery price is set when you order.
- If a price on our website is wrong because of a mistake, we will tell you and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel.
2. Picking up at the yard
- You can pick up your container with your own truck and trailer during yard hours.
- We charge a $75 load fee to put the container on your trailer, unless you can get under the container yourself.
- You are responsible for your truck, trailer, straps and safe transport once the container is loaded.
3. Delivery
- Delivery from our yard is available. Ask our team for a price.
- We can also ship a container straight to you for $7 a mile, up to 400 miles.
- Delivery dates depend on the container and any customizations. We will give you a date when you order.
4. Getting your site ready
You are responsible for making sure our truck can get in and set the container down safely. That means:
- Level, firm ground where the container will sit.
- A clear path in, with nothing in the way: no vehicles, gates too narrow, low wires or branches.
- Enough straight space for the truck: about 50 ft or more for a 20 ft container and about 100 ft for a 40 ft.
If our driver decides the site is not safe, we may not be able to deliver that day. Fee to be set A fee may apply if the truck has to come back.
5. Damage to your property
You ask us to deliver the container onto your property, so we are not responsible for damage to driveways, ground, landscaping, underground lines or anything else on the property during delivery or pickup. If you are worried about a surface, tell us before delivery and we can talk about options.
6. Permits, HOA and local rules
Your city, town, county or HOA may have rules about containers. Getting any permit or approval is your responsibility. Please check before you order.
7. Condition
- New (one trip) containers have shipped once and look close to new.
- Used containers are sold as-is in the condition shown or described for their grade. Used containers can have dents, rust spots and wear.
- The best way to know what you are getting is to come see your container at the yard before you buy.
8. Payment and deposits
Coming from Scott We go over payment and any deposit when you place your order. We do not take payment on the website.
9. Cancellations and returns
- If you cancel after delivery and we have to pick the container back up, there is a $500 restocking fee.
- Custom builds are made just for you. If you cancel a custom build, there is a 40% restocking fee.
